Story Behind This Song

There have been several times in my life, where God has given me a very specific word that has completely changed the course of my life. Sometimes it had to do with my future, sometimes my past, most often the present condition of my heart. You may have heard it said that you don’t know you’re asleep until you wake up. There were plenty of times in my life that I didn’t realize I was in darkness until the Holy Spirit came in and shined His light on me. I’m always praying that we would create an atmosphere in our worship that invites the Holy Spirit to come and speak freely to our hearts…reminding us of His love, convicting us of our sins, and challenging us to become more and more like Christ.
