Every single day our spirits are at war with our flesh. It’s a constant battle to be able to make the right choices…to stay pure in such a filthy world. So often I find that I want to do the right thing, but my good intentions aren’t always enough to keep me from making mistakes. My prayer has become ‘God, help me love the things you love and hate the things you hate. “Create in me a pure heart, and renew a willing spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10) You and you alone are able to keep me from falling.
