Story behind the CD written by Michele McGovern: The songs on this CD were written during a very pivotal time in my life, when God was calling me out of my complacency and fear into a time of action and trust. It was such an exhilarating season for me…an absolute spiritual awakening. It was a time when God was challenging me to overcome my fears, deal with my insecurities, learn how to be obedient, take risks, and dream big dreams for Him. The Lord had a lot of work to do inside of me…exposing areas of my heart I was selfishly holding on to, and calling me to a life of full surrender. Each song on this CD was inspired by specific encounters I had with the Lord as He spoke to my heart, and little by little, replaced my darkness with His light.
